I am getting ready to finalize my wedding flower order, who, besides the wedding party traditionally receives a corsage or boutonniere?
A. In my opinion, it is up to you to decide whom you want to honor at your wedding. Typically I find our customers chose to honor the parents, and grandparents. The decision to include stepparents is usually because the stepparents are in the wedding party, if they are not, then a nice flower arrangement sent to the hotel they are staying at or their home is considered a thoughtful way to honor them.
The next in line would be the ushers, or those making special speeches at the wedding.
Keep in mind, the people whom you give flowers to wear at the wedding will be picked up as important by the photographer, so whomever you want special photo's of, include on your list to order flowers for.
Traditionally, the parents and stepparents, grandparents, and any other immediate family members who are not in the wedding party, ushers, and the ceremony readers receive flowers. Keep in mind, this list could end up costing alot of money. I recommend, if you are paying for the wedding, then you decide whom you want to give flowers to. If your parents or someone else is paying for the flowers, work with them to decide whom they feel should get flowers.

We have designed wonderful fresh floral arrangements, supplied chair covers, and designed amazing one of a kind events that capture the personalities of our customers. We get the tears, and the hugs, and the strong handshake of appreciation from our customers on a weekly basis. There is nothing more rewarding than sharing such a special day with our clients.

What Exactly Does Add Pizzazz Do?We design unique events that reflect our customers personality and style. We have been serving the Ottawa region wedding industry for 8 years. In the beginning, we specifically focused on wedding design and rentals. Chair covers, back drops, accent organza swagging for head tables, including the design and set up.
How Have we evolved? The Ottawa Marriott has invited us to be their feature designer for their wedding and corporate events. Our wedding season starts early April straight through to October. We are being credited as a choice vendor with high recommendation from almost every wedding venue in Ottawa.
How did we do it? Welove what we do. We never let ourselves get overburdened, when it is time to turn away customers because we are just too busy, we do it. (Personally, I would rather say no than take on too much and not be able to deliver quality service to my valued customers.)
Where do I see us going in the future? Definitely on the path we are on right now. We have expanded to include corporate and fundraising services. This is a way to balance out our professional portfolio and even out our season. Corporate and fundraising events typically take place in the winter, and our wedding season definitely
thins out during the winter. So the expansion fits. I have been invited to sit on the Algonquin College Event Management Board of Advisers, and been offered to be sent on training with an offer in progress to be employed at the College. Fresh Flower Arrangements:
This is a sample of the type of floral arrangement we like to design at Add Pizzazz. There are approximately 16 roses in the boquet. ( A mix of white vandella and blue curio.) We have also added in some lavender feather, and approximately 7 purple calla lilies. The parameter of the boquet is accented with feathers. This is a very large boquet, and suitable for a bride that is between 5'5" and 5'10" and average weight.

We suggest you view your fresh flowers as an accent to you, and your dress, not the focus. Simple, understated elegance!
