Meeting my clients, I realize that I have many things to share.
Design:
I have been producing weddings for 12 years now. I have seen it all, and I have done it all. New on the scene here in Ottawa in the last year or so, are glow lights. Glow lights are a great way to add illumination to your guest tables. They are battery operated, last all night, and can easily be incorporated into centerpiece designs. There are a few design issues that need to be considered before you decide to opt for glow lights. Because the glow lights are a new product on the scene, this means that the lights need to be incorporated into "new" modern, "urban" designs that suit the concept of glow lights. There is nothing worse than desiring a 1920's warm, personal ambiance focused event, and then using blue glow lights to try to achieve the mood. Warm ambiance can be created by using traditional looking lighting such as candles, not glow lights.
Florists vs Wedding Designer:
While we certainly can reproduce any and all florist generated ideas for weddings, I want to point out that a florist and a wedding designer are two completely different people. We offer two completely different types of services. Fresh flowers are gorgeous and they add that final touch to any event. The key word here is "Final Touch"! Flowers are the final step in the wedding design process, and the final piece of the design puzzle. Because Add Pizzazz is a wedding design company, not a florist, we offer services specifically geared to weddings only. No mothers day bouquets, no funeral arrangements, weddings only. We channel all our energy and focus on the full design concept of weddings, and we use props, overlays, back draping, centerpieces, and head table decor to tell the full story, the flowers are the final touch. We are not distracted by Valentines Day, Christmas, Easter or any other holiday. Florists bread and butter are these holiday events, and they are heavily dependent on the revenue these key events generate. They need the money they make off these holidays to pay for the cost of their shop, fridges, and in house flower stock. Just the idea of a florist designing a flower arrangement for a casket, and then, using the same fill and flowers for the church for a wedding is not appealing. What does this mean for you? 1) a vendor focused specifically on wedding design, and serving the wedding industry. 2) cost savings transfered down to the price of the floral designs 3) meticulous attention to wedding design and trends 4) a vendor not influenced by other revenue streams.
Please, if you are a bride whom has booked Add Pizzazz Wedding Services for your wedding through Bronwyn Hammell, and if you have not been contacted by the owner, Kelmany Ross as of Aug 14th, 2008, please contact her immediately.
Bronwyn Hammell abruptly quit her part time job with Add Pizzazz August 12th, and she took all the information about your event with her. While her email to you states she has passed on the information about your event, this is not the case. While her emails to my clients imply she had a "business relationship with Add Pizzazz" this is not the case, she was hired to meet clients and book weddings only. I am working tirelessly to clean the situation up, but your call to me is very important.
Please call Kelmany Ross immediately at 613 482 8674 or 612 222 1978.
